Hi, I am Paula Talman, founder of iSpace Wellbeing; the mental health and wellbeing curriculum for schools.
I’m a registered nurse in both adult and paediatric nursing, a mental health first aider, children’s author and mindfulness teacher.
I’m also a former Director of Compliance, Health and Welfare within the education sector, and have a wealth of experience in child development and mental health in both the hospital and educational settings. I have an MSc in Nursing Science and have completed a research study on attitudes towards adolescence with mental health issues. My passion lies in supporting children with their mental, physical and social development as they journey through life, helping them live life well.
Hi, I’m Julie Nicholds, iSpace Wellbeing’s Engagement Manager.
Prior to joining iSpace, I spent almost 30 years working in Human Resources with the last 10 spent working in a consultancy providing HR support to various SMEs including a number of schools (both state and independent sector). I am a qualified life coach and more recently I became a qualified Mental Health First Aider and Trainer. I have delivered a number of mental health training programmes both in person and online as well as developing and delivering wellbeing sessions.
Joining iSpace has enabled me to move into a role where the organisation and my own role have real purpose; making a real difference to the lives of children.
