Our learning tools have been developed to support children both in school and at home with their family. They are designed to help make conversations about mental and emotional wellbeing easier. They provide a common language, child appropriate ways to talk about anxieties and worries, and help embed the tools and life skills to help children build emotional literacy, resilience and their “bounce back-ability”.
The Book: ‘Have you ever had a Stressor?’ is the first book in the iSpace Wellbeing collection. Designed to help children learn to talk about their thoughts, feelings and worries; it gently teaches them tools and strategies to manage their emotional wellbeing, including who and how to ask for help.
The Toolkit: The iSpace Toolkit can be used by the whole family to continue what your child is learning at school and bring it into the home. By creating a common language that all the family can use to talk about mental wellbeing, the iSpace Toolkit provides a go to guide, conversation map and handy card deck designed to make mental wellbeing part of the fabric of everyday life.
